Lilibird located in historical Burgess Church at the Bala Falls
Description
For the seventh summer Lilibird (formerly named Simpler Times) is open for business, weekends until the end of June and then daily for July and August. If you've never been inside this beautiful landmark you should take the time to visit when you're in the area. It sits on an island in the middle of two falls creating the north and south dams of Lake Muskoka pouring into the Moon River. When you consider all the water from Algonquin parks flows down through the Muskoka waterways and through these two falls it is an important heritage landmark. The church was built in 1927 and was decommissioned in 1996, and has been used as a retail store/ antique store/ art gallery since that time. We'd love to meet you so come on in soon!
