Great service, wonderful atmosphere and great tasting food

Great service, a very welcoming atmosphere, and amazing fish and chips!

Service has always been excellent and food always arrives hot. The all day breakfast is fabulous ( eggs, bacon potatoes, toast). Foremost of all , the fish and chips are consistently delicious. Finally, grab some of the garlic bread to go, its top notch.

Westside Fish & Chips is a frequent lunch spot for us, usually once a week. We are always welcomed with a smile/hello and asked to find ourselves a table. Hubby always has a #5 fish & half & half and I usually have a 1/2 sandwich and soup. There are always 2 homemade soup choices and we always have one of each to share. Always accommodating, the staff make you feel welcome and ensure you have a fun time and great food! Ask for Tea for Two and Debbie may even do a Tea for Two dance!

Awesome food at reasonable prices! The servers are always cheerful and helpful. And here's a tip: their prize winning chili is not on the menu, but can be ordered. It is amazing! And don't forget to try their out-of-this-world butter tarts.

Shortly after retiring to Muskoka, in 2008, we decided to adopt two cats from the Huntsville Animal Shelter and on the day we were to get the cats, we needed to fill in a couple of hours so went to Westside Fish and Chips. Co-incidentally, we learned our very friendly waitress also volunteered at the shelter and knew one of our chosen cats, Gracie, who was her son's favourite. We love the food at Westside. I always get one piece haddock with half slaw and half fries, and my husband usually orders their great chili! We like getting the birthday and anniversary coupons too. And seeing the teapot collection (hundreds of them) is worth the visit. Tasty food, friendly people: a winning combination!

Love taking the family for birthdays and our anniversary! It is something of a tradition. Food is always fresh and piping hot!

Had an amazing Father's Day lunch. The staff handled our group of eight plus one child with fast and fun service. Meal was hot, delicious and waitress was friendly and excellent in her skills. We will be back again and again.
