Looks like old man winter is going to make his entrance into Muskoka tonight bringing the first significant snow fall of the year. Keep your shovels handy and snowblowers ready in case you need to dig yourself out in the morning. If you still have seasonal items to put away but have no where to store them, we can help. We have indoor, climate controlled storage units available that will protect your belongings during the winter season. For more information please call Wanda at 705-640-0040 or you can e-mail wanda@aspiremuskoka.ca
November is quickly coming to an end with Christmas just around the corner. Stores are beautifully decorated for the holiday season with numerous customers flooding the floors last weekend to take advantage of the sales offered on Black Friday. Finding the right gift for everyone on your list is no easy chore and neither is fighting a crowded retail store. Internet shopping has become very popular and I, for one, am guilty of heading to the computer instead of the stores to shop. As my children grow older I am finding it more and more difficult to shop for them with each passing year. The older they get, the more expensive the gifts seem to be. This is year I am going to try and give my children the gift of new experiences and time with the family, rather than material items. When it comes right down to it, time is the most precious gift we all have to give.
REMEMBERANCE DAY
Every year since 1931, at the eleventh hour, of the eleventh day of the eleventh month we have been gathering for Remembrance Day Ceremonies. Together we pause in silence to remember every man and woman who have served and continue to serve our country. To mark the sacrifice of the many that have fallen so we would have the freedom we have today. They gave their lives and their futures so that we may live in peace.
FOR YOUR SCARIFICE
FOR OUR FREEDOM
THANK YOU!
It is raining and miserable outside so that must mean it's Halloween. I hope the rain stops for a few hours to allow all the trick or treaters to have a wonderful, safe evening out and about tonight. HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!
